Louisa Mojela has come a long way since being relegated to the kitchen with the tea lady when she worked at Carletonville’s United Bank. She has worked her way up the ladder to become a high-powered businesswoman at the head of a leading company once listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange. The Women Investment Portfolio Holdings or Wiphold, which delisted from the JSE in 2003, is an investment and operating company dedicated to the empowering of black women.
