I love Pinup Girl Clothing. Correction: I love LOVE Pinup Girl Clothing! So I partnered with my loves at Jetset Extra and interviewed Laura Byrnes, aka Supreme Overlord of the vintage-inspired brand. It’s exactly her type of cheeky, business savvy approach that guided the coorporate and creative direction of Pinup Girl. Join us as we chat clothing, business and glamorous, old Hollywood lifestyle. This mother, wife, and entrepreneur is also their lead photographer. Her career began with a coveted magazine photographer position, but her visionary personality led her to start her own line. Now her photographic skills are used to craft product catalogs whose pages seem plucked from the pinups of the ’50s. In this interview, Laura Byrnes also shares her unique management style, the early days of PUG, and the pros and cons of domestic manufacturing. In her own words, the PUG team is “having the time of our lives.” Kind of our shared vision, n’est ce pas? I need to find a few inexpensive stores that I can find women’s suits or just nice button up shirts and nice pants. I need to look my age as well. I need the look of the clothes to be between 20-25 area. Please help! Thanks for all your help.

My daughter is graduating from college and needs a new business wardrobe. The problem is, she is 5ft. tall, size 0, and looks younger than her almost 22 years. She is getting very frustrated. The only clothes that fit are teen clothes and she is looking for a more sophisticated, mature look. Any suggestions for good places to shop for business clothes for smaller women?

The business I started is currently in Tennessee’s largest indoor flea market. I’ve been open for approx.4 months and have already establised a customer base. I have yet to do my business cards or open a business account because I can’t decide on a name. I sell clothing and accessories and they are all new or like-new and very much in-style and classy clothes. I have a range of styles…trendy, classic, chic, etc. I want the name to reflect what I sell and also be catchy but not tacky. A few ideas I’ve had are: Diversity, First Impressions, Lasting Impressions, Impressions, No Limits, Mirror Image, Unlimited, and a few more. I know this should be an easy task but, every time I think of a name, I also think how it will sound when I answer the phone when I do move to my own place. I feel I need to hurry because without bus. cards, or a name, my business just doesn’t seem professional. So far nothing has ” stuck”. Something short but easy to remember. Any help appreciated. Thank you!
