In the Kansas City Kansas area. I have most of the equipment and need less than $3,000 to complete. Looking to purchase laptop, some computer programs, some equipment, printing, small office supplies, business cards. I am looking for a grant designed for women beginning a small business.

I was in the Army for 12 yrs., during that time I received extensive training in the Food Service field. I did some extra training in Culinary Arts. I would like to either start my own Party Planning/ Catering business or open a fine dining establishment.

I have an idea for a small business that I would run out of my home. I would employ only myself and I would be providing a service. After careful evaluation, i believe my start up costs to come in around $4000.00. I don’t want to borrow money because I dont want to start off in the hole. Every search i have done on the internet looking for grants, has only produced a list of people who want to sell me a list of possible grants. can anyone tell me where to look for a grant. sba does not provide money for start ups. hoping to hear from strong, motivated woman who have taken this step before me. thanks for any info or advice you might have.

My daughter is graduating from college and needs a new business wardrobe. The problem is, she is 5ft. tall, size 0, and looks younger than her almost 22 years. She is getting very frustrated. The only clothes that fit are teen clothes and she is looking for a more sophisticated, mature look. Any suggestions for good places to shop for business clothes for smaller women?

I am just thinking of becoming a business women and I was wondering what courses I needin high school to become a business women in Canada? Do i need academic or applied courses??And after high school do I go to university or college??
