Women entrepreneurs in today’s business world

Why deal with a Woman Owned Business? What do you receive in return? Does it make a difference if they are also a small business, less than 8 people?

Thanks for answering~

In my opinion there is no difference dealing with a woman owned business or a man owned business. Not any more than dealing with a business owned by a type A personality versus one owned by a type B personality. There will be differences between business owners, naturally, but these are more of an individual difference rather than a gender difference. Long and short I think a person’s personality, beliefs and morals play a role while gender really has little bearing. There are plenty of unfair men and unfair women just as their are plenty of fair men and fair women.

Well, it all depends. A key part of dealing with WOBs is the negotiations. What you receive all depends on how well your negotiations go. A small business WOB makes a big difference. Because they’re so small, it’s easier to push them around. You can get whatever you want when dealing with a small business WOB.

Or… it’s the same as dealing with a MOB? You just are talking to a girl…
