Women in Business Today

~~I would imagine most women prefer working at home due to the expense of childcare and then the worry of leaving them for 8 plus hours a day. Women are still the primary caregivers of children, and I know I wanted to be home while mine were young.

I think the minority of women-owned businesses may be the same reason. My husband has been self employed for over 25 years, and the hours he works in his own business surpass what is a normal work-week for the average person. Therefore again, the struggles of raising,worrying, etc. about children, just make it much more difficult for women.~~

A lot of women want to work from home, because of their children. This is how the world grew from wayy back when. Women always stayed home w/ the children and didn’t have to work. The men always supported the women! Now in today’s world, and the economy women have to work. Also, it’s a lot easier to stay home w/ the children, and raise them, then it is to just dump them off to a babysitter. It’s not just women who are looking to work from home either, there is A LOT of men that want to do this too. Who would like to work for other people when they could work for themselves at home…
